A race and the Spring Game.

Well I had another race this morning and went to the Spring game this afternoon. I’m not going to go a great deal into either since I’m pretty beat. All I will say is I’m glad we play 3 shlubs before we get to Virginia Tech. I predict 8-5 including the bowl game and I’m being generous. I pray Ganz doesn’t get hurt and that Bo can breathe some life into the defense. We’ll see I guess. It was cool to see the place sold out for a practice. Over 80,000 people there makes us the highest attended spring game in the country this year. Should be good for recruiting.

Had the Novartis 10k this morning. I placed right about where I was expecting to. My goal for this one was to keep my heartrate steady and below redline unlike last time and keep a steady pace for the whole race. I accomplished both of those so it’s all good. I didn’t place as good in this one as I did in the last race which I was expecting from looking at last years results. I don’t know if everyone else is just in shitty shape for the first race of the year which made me look better or what. I suppose all the fatties sign up for the first race of the year wanting to lose weight but then don’t do any more after that because it hurts really bad thus leaving me to run against people who are actually athletic. Oh well I’m happy with how I finished I guess.

That’s all I’ve got for now, I’m going to take a nap because I’m a little sunburned and I only slept for about 3 hours last night.

  1. I’m glad you’re getting out and doing something with your time off (Hmmm…what’s that?). I just put in the longest work-week in my life…over 80 hours. G’night.
