I found what I want for Christmas!

It’s the Slanket!

What the hell is a Slanket? It’s only the most amazing thing I have seen ever! Well maybe not ever but this week anyway! It’s this!

It’s a fleece blanket with sleeves and a head hole! Why the hell would you want that you say? Why wouldn’t you is what I say! My first color choice would be the Castlerock followed by the Limoges which appears to be their weirdo way of saying gray and blue. Awesome!

I’m so glad the election is over. Obama won which I was pleased about. I actually picked him during the earliest of the early primaries before anyone was eliminated as the one I liked out of all of them along with Ron Paul (I picked one from each party). It appears that Obama may take Nebraska’s 2nd congressional district’s electoral vote as well which pleases me a great deal since it’s been about 50 years since Nebraska didn’t go all red no matter who was on the ballot. Maybe I don’t live in the most redneck backwards state in the United States after all. For that I would have to move to Alaska where they reelected a guy who got convicted of 7 felony counts of corruption. I guess that explains how people like Sarah Palin make their way into politics. Anyway I don’t know how Obama will do but I’m hopeful. Here’s a quote that I read that I liked about that subject, “I look forward to being disappointed in new and exciting ways”.

Well it’s officially cold and I don’t have a new vehicle and I most likely won’t get one any time soon. I figured with the economy the way it is it might be a better idea not to overextend myself and keep things close to the vest instead. The piece of crap truck still starts every time and I think if I just hot wire the heater blower motor to the battery with some wire and a toggle switch to make it work it will keep me warm and keep the windows clear this winter. I’ll put the money away and get something later. I’m actually thinking about getting a Jeep. They aren’t that great on gas though since they are square where they’re supposed to be round and round where they’re supposed to be square but the fuel economy is about the same as what I get now with my truck. I’ve always wanted one though even when I was younger. If I recall dad said “No they ride too rough”.

I’ve got less than an hour before I’m off work for the weekend. I took Monday off so I don’t have to go back until next Tuesday at 10pm. What ever will I do? Oh yea… homework because I messed around all week. That and cleaning my place. Damn.
