I need something to ebay.

Well I have been looking around for something to sell on ebay as a business but I’m not having that much luck at the moment. Kasey and I were talking about starting a business together so we don’t have to work for the man the rest of our lives. So far the best thing we could come up with is an ebay business but I don’t really want to split it 50-50 with him because I really dont know what he could do to earn his half. He is pretty much computer illiterate except what it takes to look at the sports scores and porn. I would have to do most of the work so it doesnt sound very appealing to partner up when I could get half the product on my own and do half the work and make the same amount of money. I need to find a good place to get stuff wholesale. I was thinking of selling blank dvd’s and after looking around I could make a 11.37% profit margin after expenses. That is an ok margin if I was making that margin on say a car that sells for 10 grand but on blank dvd’s its not so good. To make the same income that I am making now working for the man I would have to sell 5370 a year with a cost for the product alone of $214,746. I just can’t really make that work. I was also thinking books on the half.com part of ebay because I have had good luck selling books on there but I am having trouble finding good enough deals to make that worth while. I did find a place that will do drop shipping (when they ship from their warehouse directly to the customer and put my name on it) and their prices are pretty good but the selection is not that great. That would be ideal if I could have a situation where they would drop ship it because then there would be no hassle for me other than posting that its for sale and when someone buys entering the information into the warehouse place and then collect the payment at the end of the month from half.com. I will have to research this some more to see if I can find someplace similar with a better selection.

By the way Mom and Pat just to let you know I am most likely not going to renew this domain when it expires on March 19, 2006. I already have a new domain name in mind and have found a new server that charges about half as much for more space, more bandwith and more features that I want. I am planning to get that in the near future and I can move your blogs over to there if you want. I will try to do that as soon as possible so you can have the new link on the old page so people that read your stuff have plenty of time to see that it’s moved and change their bookmarks.
