Yea I kind of just dropped off the face of the earth there didn’t I? It’s pretty much because of school I guess. Once I start working on that I don’t have much creative energy left to feel motivated to write anything. The book a week thing kind of dropped off as well. I finished Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Thumbs down. I have no idea why it became such a popular book. It’s pretty much the ramblings of someone with paranoid schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder having acid flashbacks. I swear if I had to hear any more about “quality” I was going to scream. It reminded me of those stupid productivity consultants that they bring in to make you work faster and more efficiently by using a bunch of buzzwords and bullshit.
Special Olympics are coming to town, I have to work the airlift. Involuntarily this time. At least I’m getting paid for it unlike the last time 4 years ago in Des Moines. No big deal I guess, I don’t have to work it as long as I thought I would. It is what it is.
Huskers in the Big 10! I wasn’t expecting that, but I have to admit that it’s a pretty good deal for Nebraska. Better academics, more stability, shared geographical hardships, more money, and best of all, NO MORE TEXAS! It will be pretty cool going to the horseshoe, the big house, and happy valley. It will be new and fun to play all these teams that you aren’t all that familiar with instead of getting piss thrown on us and having our cars keyed like at Colorado or going to shitholes like Waco or Lubbock.
I’ll cut is short there for today. There’s things going on but I’m tired of typing.

I’m not all that enamored with Facebook lately so I suspended my account. I might reinstate it or I might not. Right now my opinion is that it’s a waste of time.
