Well they picked Bo Pelini as the new head coach. He is a good choice I guess, not my first choice, but good. People who have played for him before and people who have worked with him are ecstatic about the pick, but I suppose I would have preferred a proven head coach. I do like the way he gets people motivated to play. Let’s see who he gets for assistants. There are already Chuck Norris’esq sayings out there for him.
Mark “Bo” Pelini was born 6 weeks premature. He designed a blitz package to help him escape from his mother’s uterus early.
Athletic funds ran short at Cardinal Mooney High when Pelini had his first job as an assistant coach. They couldn’t purchase new footballs. So Pelini killed a wild boar with his bare hands and sewed the hide in to footballs for the team to use.
Pelini grew up in Youngstown Ohio, at the same time as Bob Stoops. Pelini once made out with Stoops’ girlfriend…and made Stoops watch. It was so beautiful, Stoops wept.
Despite the quick recruiting work Pelini has to do at Nebraska, he isn’t worried at all about the NCAA’s ban on text messaging. He communicates with players telepathically.
Bo Pelini wasn’t offered the Nebraska job. He took it.
I hope he works out in a similar way that Bob Stoops did.
