It’s game time… but not for me… yet.

I just finished up my homework for the week and I’m waiting, waiting, waiting… Waiting for what? Well the Nebraska, Washington game is on right now but I’m not watching it. Instead I’m watching the K-State, Iowa State game that was recorded at 11 this morning. Oh I’m going to watch the game but I have to wait until Jessica gets home from work and we are going to try and pretend like it is live again and watch it together over a hot pizza. We tried that last week but it kind of got ruined by me seeing the score beforehand and her hearing about the game from someone at work. So far this week it’s working better so hopefully I can make it all the way until the time comes to actually watch without knowing the outcome beforehand.

Jessica and I are all registered to vote. What pisses me off is that they require you to choose a political party but only give you the choice of dumb, dumber, dumbest, or none of the above. They also had a choice of other and then a line but when I chose it and wrote something in they wrote me back and told me that since my choice did not receive 5% of the vote in the last election I wasn’t allowed to pick that and I must choose either dumb, dumber, dumbest or none of the above. How the hell are they ever supposed to get more than 5% of the vote if I can’t even choose them in the first place!??! It’s such horse shit! I’m tired of not having a candidate that represents me and only having the choice between a giant douche or a turd sandwich. I would love it if this country had instant runoff voting so you could actually vote for someone else other than the status quo candidates that are chosen for you without throwing your vote away. I wrote them back and said that maybe they should change their registration form to eliminate the other line because if you aren’t actually allowed to choose something else then it is only an illusion of choice and is a complete waste of my time and theirs.
