New domain.

Well I got everything all moved over to the new webhost. Please update your links. Why fightingpolish.com? I don’t know, its just a goofy name and a lot of sites have that nowadays. It’s a twist on the Fighting Irish. I have a friend at work who is a Norte Dame fan and he’s always walking around saying “Go Irish!”, and I respond “Go Polish!” since I am a pollok. I thought about it and liked the name and wanted something new. I was just sick of having my name as the name of the site. During the move I did some upgrades that I have been meaning to do for a long time. I got the newest version of gallery and fully integrated it into wordpress. Click on the Photos link there on top and check it out. Pretty cool, much nicer than it was before. Pat and Adam if you want me to do the same to your sites let me know and I will, should be a lot easier since I worked all the bugs out here on mine. Now that I got most things working I will be working on a new look for the site. Along with the new look I plan on posting more. It has been brought to my attention that all I do is post negative things most of time. That is true I guess. I think I am going to try to add more content like more funny links that I find and thoughts on current issues… along with my usual bitching and moaning. I’ll add some good things that are going on too.

Something interesting happened yesterday when I was at work. Have you ever seen that TV show American Chopper on Discovery Channel? Well yesterday Paul Sr. and Mikey stopped in Lincoln for a quick turn on a Lear 45 (That is when you get gas, run in to take a piss, grab a snack, etc. real quick and leave right away for those not versed in airplane terminology). Appearently they stopped in for the same thing on Monday but I never heard anything about it. Anyway I wave the plane in and throw the chalks on and the door opens and they pop out. It kind of took me by suprise actually. Did a double take. The only thing I could think was “you know he looks a lot bigger on tv…”. Anyway just something out of the ordinary, and since I like that show I thought it was pretty cool. A lot cooler than putting gas on the plane of some stuffy old guy who made his money in the bathroom fixture industry.
