I went and ran the Thunder Run 5k this morning at the airport. I was really trying to break under 9 minutes a mile but I couldn’t quite do it which was really disappointing but not unexpected since I have only been back at it for a couple weeks. I did however run my fastest time ever according to the NASA watch beating a 5k I ran with Joe a couple months ago by a second a mile. Looking at my results compared to others my age sucks though. I must be built for my “good looks” rather than speed because I can’t seem to get much faster. Damn you lanky unathletic body! Anyway here’s the results.
