Stupid dog.

You know how hard it is to find a reasonably inexpensive apartment when you have a dog? They either don’t allow pets at all or they only allow stupid cats. I don’t know about you but most of the time when I go to someone’s place who has a cat the place smells like cat piss. How are cats better? I don’t get it. The place I was thinking about renting from doesn’t allow pets (even though the friend I know who lives there says she has a bird and she has seen people with dogs). Oh well. I will keep looking. I got a line on a place from looking on the internet but they have very narrow office hours during the week when I can’t call so I have to wait till the weekend when they have office hours most of the day. They probably charge $20 a month for “pet rent” which is just a half assed way to collect a $240 non refundable pet deposit per year.

I got an email back from my online application at Duncan Aviation for the “Line Service Representative” position. That’s a fancy name for a guy who fuels and tows around the planes. They need a copy of my driving record by Thursday at 5pm. My record isn’t that bad. the only thing current is the crappy week I had 2 years ago when I got in a wreck and got a speeding/seatbelt ticket within a 6 day period. Hopefully they won’t think that is too bad. The only problem is that it’s hard to get down to take care of this crap during their office hours. I can’t get any time off, especially now since we are so busy. I always have something to do when we get a short lunch or no lunch at all. I’ll figure something out. That’s all I got for now.
