Well we have a place to live all set up after farting around for a month or so looking for someplace to call home. We got word this afternoon that the people that had the house in Air Park decided to go with someone else instead of us which was kind of disappointing because the place was so nice. It sounded like almost a sure thing after we went to look at it. Too bad. It was a little bit small though and the drive was way too far for Jessica to make all the time so it’s probably for the best. Since we finally got the ok from the current landlord to stay where we are at for a little extra time we are going with the house in Roca that Jessica’s friend rents out. We went and looked at it tonight and it has a lot more space than I thought it would have even if the layout is a little weird which isn’t unusual with an old house that has been added on to. The two car garage is nice but I’m going to have to find a snowblower for this winter because there is no way in hell that I’m going to try and scoop enough snow to clear a path to the street in order to park in it. Still, it will be great to have someplace out of the elements where I can go tinker around. I need to get DSL and satellite hooked up though and I’ve never had either. Satellite seems like such a pain in the ass and dealing with the phone company to get DSL hooked up is such a pain in the ass too. It will work out in the end I guess.
Football! I’m going to buy the pay per views this year since I actually have the box to do it instead of trying to find the games for free on the net which never works or listening on the radio. They cost a fortune but it’s something that I enjoy and hey, what the hell… it’s only money. Why the hell do I go to work if I only ever spend my money on stuff that sucks? We want to go to a game this year but I am thinking about trying to go to the final Big 12 Championship in Dallas instead of going to a lame game like South Dakota. It would be awesome if it was Nebraska vs. Oklahoma in the Cowboys new stadium to close out Nebraska’s final year in the conference. It would be even more fun if we didn’t get our asses handed to us and we won the damn game for once instead of losing at the end!
Nice little 2 story house…picture was from 5 years ago and a lot of things can happen in 5 years, is it still standing (LOL). Anyway, good luck with that…if you get the place, you’ll just have to put plastic on the windows or something to conserve heat…Brian will like the fenced in yard though. OK, later, love ya!

Well it’s a done deal, we are moving to that house. Yea it has a fenced in yard, and it still looks ok.
