Went to the hockey game.

Well Kasey got some tickets to the Lincoln Stars hockey game tonight and you can’t beat the price. Free! They were great seats right on the glass. I can’t say that I’m the biggest hockey fan in the world but there were some pretty good fights there in the beginning. I don’t understand the rules that much, and I particularly don’t care for the “icing” rule but it was a pretty good time. Too bad the Stars got waxed 5-2 and were never really in it at all after going down 3-0 in the first period.

I had the opportunity to possibly get some tickets to the Nebraska homecoming game tomorrow for free but after thinking about it I don’t really don’t feel like it which is pretty sad. Tickets are going for like $15 bucks on the ticket dealer sites and no one is buying. Callahan’s ship is sinking quick because the fans are sick of paying to see a bunch of crybabies and quitters stink it up on national television. I’m still a fan and all but after I paid so much to go to the USC game only to leave early because we were getting such an asskicking I am having a little trouble keeping my enthusiasm up. I’ll go over to Shannon’s and watch it on pay per view.

  1. WELL STEVE I WENT TO THE GAME TODAY WOW……NOW I DONT FEEL SO BAD FOR LOVING THE IRISH SO MUCH….DID YOU HAPPEN TO HEAR ALL THE HUSKER FANS YELLING FIRE THE COACH…..
THAT HAD TO BE ONE OF THE WORST GAMES I EVER BEEN TOO [[[BUT THEN THE IRISH PLAYED LIKE SHIT THAT NOT SAYING MUCH]]]]]]
    GO HUSKERS
    DID I JUST SAY THAT

  2. Yea that’s why I didn’t go. I could barely watch the damn game on television. I am absolutely on board with firing Steve Pederson, Bill Callahan and Kevin Cosgrove. Let’s bring in someone who can get their players ready to play and knows how to make adjustments so every team we play doesn’t have a career best game. I’m tired of watching a bunch of gutless losers getting their asses kicked every week. Let’s bring in Paul Johnson from Navy and go back to running the option again instead of this horseshit west coast offense. I don’t want to watch NFL junior. I WANT TO WATCH NEBRASKA!

  3. Well, it’s begun…Pederson is fired, but he gets $2.2 million (must be nice), and Callahan is probably next. They’ll probably ask Tom Osbourne to come back as athletic director. (I sound like I know what I’m talking about, don’t I???). If he does, it’ll be just for a couple years to teach these people how to do it, and then he’ll retire to some tropical island somewhere. I wish I could retire to a tropical island somewhere with Pederson’s $2.2 million!
