I thought I was gonna be screwed there for a little bit and stuck without a vehicle to get to work. My truck was overheating real bad and was about to blow up. Shit like that always happens as soon as I financally stabilize a little and then theres a major problem to put me right back in the hole again. Luckily it was just a cracked radiator hose. It got hot and leaked all of the coolant out so there was none left. I could smell the sweet smell of antifreeze burning off the motor when it happened. I got a hotter thermostat and gasket for it when I was down there getting the new hoze and antifreeze so now it’s ready to keep me warm this winter. The old thermostat was a cold one and it took forever to heat the inside of the truck when it was cold and snowy outside. The whole thing took about an hour and a half and about $30 and it now runs at a steady 210 degrees. I thought for sure it would be something like a water pump because that’s what always happens to me. I need the truck to last me till next year when my “new” vehicle plan will be ready. It won’t be new but it will be nicer than I usually have. That’s all I have for now. Everything is all good now.

Well, that’s good! Just keep your fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong…I’ll be thinking of you out there on the runway with your fuel hoses…just think…4 months from now there will be snow flying! LOL
BURN!!!! From the MOM.
You do have that kind of luck steve!!! At least you got it taken care of and it was an easy/cheap fix! Come to think of it I really can’t see you driving anything but that Blazer. (RIP)
