Well I ran down to Sheels this morning to find some winter gear to wear for work. I got a few things that were on my list but not everything. I just couldn’t justify paying $150 for good boots and $40 for ski goggles…. YET. We will see how it goes later in the winter whether I change my mind on those items. I already have boots to wear but they aren’t very good. I will just try to get by with my military boots since they are waterproof and wear some warm socks underneath. Besides the warm socks I picked up one of those full masks used for skiing that you can wear several different ways. Everything covered but the eyes, everything but the face, or completely pull it down and use it just as a neck warmer. Good times.
The day 6 picture of “WATCH STEVE’S BEARD GROW!” is up in the gallery. There is some progress there although the picture isn’t that great. It’s hard to take a good clear picture of yourself, especially with my crappy camera. It’s starting to itch a little, not bad yet though. I expect that to happen within the next week which is why I have always shaved it off in the past at about that time. I wonder how long I will keep this up before I get tired of the itching or just start forgetting to take the picture every third day. That’s part of the stupid fun I guess.
Beard is looking good, is that almost a little hint of a smile there at the very edges??? Almost looks like it…you have to watch that on the next picture, try not to look like you’re having so much fun growing that beard! LOL! Hey, you still coming for Thanksgiving? You and a “plus one”? (Brian?)
